Salutations from Mentis V Something strange is happening on Mentis V. A transmission, unique and indecipherable, emanates from the planet, buried beneath the chatter of vox signals and psychic communications. Though Mentis is the seat of a relatively new and prosperous colony, the planet has been inhabited by humans for millenia. Its pious natives speak in reverent tones of a pact between their people and the Emperor Himself, an intriguing claim, but possibly dangerous, if not heretical. Whatever is happening on Mentis V, the Inquisition is long overdue for a visit. A retinue of acolytes comes to the Mentis System aboard a baleful Black Ship, bent on doing their duty whilst the Adeptus Astra Telepathica does theirs.
