OOC-Gefion counted the Ice Dragon among the spellcasters.
IC-The shaman squints apprehensively at her when she mentions fire. She can see him trying to look out of the cave and see what may be waiting for him in the sky.You speak the truth Od's Maiden. Tis a cold day, we should all warm ourselves by a fire. For a moment the shaman smiles at her, waiting as his suggestion spell ripples harmlessly over Rota and spreads to her companions. His face crinkles into a frown when Rota doesn't turn her back move towards a fire as he suggested.
The Ice Dragon lifts it's wings and the snow swirls around Rota's feet creating a small draft and rising up her body. Odin's protection rolls over the dragon's obscurement spell, keeping the shaman and dragon keenly in Rota's sight.
OOC-Rota roll for initiative and and actions.
Secure Rolls:
Rota's Spell Resistance 1d20(1)+14 = 15
Ice Dragon spellcraft 1d20(9)+8 = 17

You seem always to want to change our agreement. Here is my final compromise. You tell me where the jewelry that holds Goasme's mind and soul is located, or hand it over if you've got it. I will let you go once I've got it. Or you can die. Which will it be?
Rota seems very calm and patient.

OOC-Die Roller not working
IC-The shaman's squint turns into a slant-eyed glare. Rota notices the frills behind the dragon's neck start to rise and the ears fold behind the skull.I don't have Goasme's Circlet. Killing me will aid you little in that task. Tyskava holds the circlet. It is his to guard. Seek him if you would have it. He was in the mustard colored tent. The shaman looks in that direction, his lips curling in a nervous smile. The Ice Dragon's serrated tail curls up behind the shaman's shoulder and the great beast rises slightly on it's haunches.

Rota looks long at the mustard colored tent. Let's go over to this tent together then. You can identify Tyskava's corpse or you can help confirm he has gotten away with the circlet.
But first.
You and your dragon seem nervous. This is not good. You should feel very comfortable trusting me, as I am a very trustworthy person. As I claimed, I don't care to kill you unless you are playing me false. If I think you are playing me false, there will be a battle.
You may have noticed, all my friends here would like to kill you very much. And, they - like your dragon - are ready for this battle I think. You and I had better convince them that our deal is going to work out for both sides.
Rota casually suggests, If you like, I could cast Zone of Truth on you. You would have to, of course, let the spell do its work upon you. You couldn't fight it. Or, we would know immediately that you are not being truthful. In fact, it would be very unwise for you to refuse the spell as that would be very suspicious.
So. Do you accept a truth spell?

The shaman looks impatience and concerned. This is not going at all as he had planned. Rota feels a tingling and senses Harbard's approach before she hears and then actually sees him next to her. He looks from her to the shaman and back again. She hears him laugh. He smiles as he claps her on the back,Yes, Rota, you are right. We've fed the Raven's enough today. What say you come and share our fire and break our fast together before the day is too far gone. The shaman's squint disappears and his eyes widen some just before he yawns. A sleepy look flows across his face and he slides off the dragon and walks out looking quite friendly,Yes Rota. I'll accept your truth spell and something hot while we talk over Goasme's circlet. He reaches out to shake Rota and Harbard's hands before heading over in the direction of the fire Rota pointed out. He leaves the dragon crouched and ready to pounce inside the cave. The dragon is as surprised as everyone else by this friendly turn of events.
OOC-Rota knows someone, probably Harbard, has charmed the shaman.

Rota smiles and gestures toward the fire, falling in step beside the shaman and glancing back at the dragon.
Once at the fire, she offers to make tea or broth from dried fish.
Tell me, where is this item that keeps Goasme living? I am very interested in locating it.
