I plan to wrap Episode 1 up within the next few weeks. If you are interested in being a "Main Character" for Episode 2, please post here.
Because there are large number of characters and only a limited number of spots (likely 8), it is likely that not everyone who signs up will get the chance to "star" in each episode. Therefore I will use the following criteria to pick the main characters:
* How long you've been waiting (some preference will be given to characters who have been waiting a long time since the last episode they were in, or who have never been in an episode. I will rotate everyone in over the course of a few episodes, so if you're not picked for one you have a much better chance of being picked for the next.)
* How well you've interacted (players who are more proactively involved and submit quality posts will be given some preference)
* Your class role (I'll try and maintain a somewhat balanced party by ensuring all roles are covered)
* Your involvement in the plot (For some episodes, I may favor certain characters who are tied closely to the plot elements I wish to explore in those episodes. This factor shouldn't come into play that often)
* Your response time to this thread (ie: first come, first serve. If two characters have are equally qualified based on the above criteria, I'll take the one that responded first)
If you are not picked to be a Main Character, don't worry - inactive characters will still be able to participate to some extent in various ways:
* allocating your downtime to non-adventuring activities (hunting for food, studying artifacts, training and exercize, etc.)
* Interacting with other non-active characters in a player-run thread
* Participating on occasional slower-moving "side-scene" threads
* Making a temporary "guest star" appearance on the main thread
Episode 2 Specifics
Episode two will begin with the 'arrival' of the new characters (those who have joined since Episode 1 began). Any main characters from Episode 1 who would like are welcome to "join in" on this quick opening scene.
If you are interested in playing in Episode 2 please post (as your character) below. For ease of reference, be sure to include your character's class role(s) below (Defender/Striker/Controller/Leader).

Just to clarify: Main Characters from Episode 1 are welcome to sign up. After re-reading my post above I see I may not have made that clear. There are a limited number of spots and I will somewhat favor newcomers but there may be a few spots for repeat characters.

Apologies: Map issues, sickness, and a busy schedule have conspired to postpone the beginning of episode 2. My new estimate for beginning is late April. Thanks to those of you who have signed up. If anyone else is interested feel free to post. I'll announce the list of episode 2 main characters when Episode 1 wraps up.

If you are presently listed as an alternate DON'T PANIC. Because Ep 2 signups have been open far longer than I originally intended I expect I will need to use a few alternates as some on the "main characters" list will likely not show (having forgotten about this game). Also, even if you are still not chosen for the Ep 2 list there WILL be opportunities to RP your character in a bit during Episode 2.
If you are not presently on either of the above lists (but would like to be), please post here and I will add your character's name to the bottom of the alternates list (you may still have a chance - particularly if you are a Leader or Defender, which we seem to be shy on).
