First Nomination for Zombie Kill of the Week !
Rules for Zombie Kill of the Week. 1) Anyone can make a nomination 2) DM will choose the winner, Players may lobby a nomination if they wish 3) Style scores the highest 4) Followed by risk to ones self 5) Last factor is difficulty
Victor sneaks into a store with two Zombies in it, trying to kill the Zombies silently with his Katana. He decapitates both. Amazing rolls.
Secure Rolls: To Hit 1d20(20)+1 = 21 To Hit 1d20(4)+1 = 5 To Hit 1d20(20)+1 = 21 Move silently 1d20(16)+3 = 19

I had the same problem with a player before, when I ran The Black Veil. I might suspect waiting for the weekly server reboot is the answer, but please make them full PC's before then.

umm, how do we ask the dm stuff, like ammo checks, no one posted if had put those kids down, so I don't know my ammo level and I am curious if it would be wise to give Dan the gun after the "basics speech" He already knows his stuff and if I have bullets, I'm going to put it into the best hands that I am confident with. Plus what are the symbols to make part of the post "invisible" to others, because right now as a character I'm kind of wearing my heart on my sleeve. Granted I do that norm, but what are the ways to set me straight?

there's an option in posts that says Private message to: then scroll down the list to the person you want to send a private message too within a post. All GM's can see all private tags. If you wanted something to be truly private sending a PM through your control panel is the only way to ensure complete privacy. Also there is a PG-13 limitation on what you write in there, as a site error could reveal everything, and has done so in the past.
Al, we are your friends, why do you want to hide part of your roleplaying from us?

Al, you have 3 rounds in you 9mm Beretta. But Gene is loaded with 9mm on his person, and he has more in the Mercedes.
"Also there is a PG-13 limitation on what you write in there, as a site error could reveal everything, and has done so in the past." I didn't know that.
Let me test that
The PM tool is a good one, it lets players use thoughts and prepare things they might want to not bog the game down with for others.

http://www.d20moderndb.com/game-rules/d20-modern-srd/equipment/weapons --> U used 4 shots from a standard 9, make that this-->" three .40 caliber rounds" this is from one of Gene's post for the first clown thrown at the group and that didn't stop the fun. http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Zombie_Rules_(D20_Modern_Variant_Rule) -->basics
Of main notes, Hp goes off of base creature, add fun from there. Don't need the exp - just doing a good "turn" daily!

Thanks, this was it
Split Defense/HP
The zombie NPC has two Defense values and two sets of HP, one of each for the head and the body.
[edit] Defense
The zombie only gains the nonprof. Defense bonus. The zombie only gets ½ size (rounded up) and natural armor (rounded up) bonus to the head Defense. The zombie does not get DEX or any dodge bonuses to Defense. Body (Defb): 10 + armor (The zombie only gains the nonprof. Defense bonus) + class bonus + natural + size (The zombie does not get Defense bonus from DEX) Head (Defh): 15 + armor (Helmet, see new equipment) + class bonus + ½ natural + ½ size (The difference between a ex. child’s head and an adult’s head isn’t as big as the body difference) + misc. (the zombie might be missing his jaw)
You roll attack rolls normally with all the same bonuses. If you beat the head Defense you hit the head. If you only beat the body Defense you only hit the body.
Critical hits automatically hit the head and deals damage to the head with all multipliers.
Coup de Graces automatically hit the head and deals damage to the head with all multipliers.
[edit] HP
A weapon deals damage normally to the head and the body but they have different amounts of HP. Body (HPb): 5/6 of the original HP (Ex: 20, total 24) Head (HPh): 1/6 of the original HP (Ex: 4, total 24)
If the body HP reaches 0 the zombie dies, or its body is so damaged that it isn’t a threat. If the heads HP reaches 0 the zombie dies.

I'm curious of what you guys think of this form of role-playing.
Also wondering if you'd like me to run a play by post Fall-Out caimpain the same way. I was thinking we could do it as a sort of hybrid. Most of the time we would play Play by post sytle but we also run it table top style from time to time also. I think that way you could get the best of both worlds while also avoiding some of the drawbacks of each style as well.
