Ma'ilee the panther opens its maw once again and instead of locusts lightning bursts forth blasting the newly formed skeleton into bone shards then she leaps forward trying to flank the last of the cultists upon the stairs. The cultist takes advantage of her movements stabbing at her with his javelin as she passes him(AoO), but he misses the lithe black panther. He then turns and follows up with another strike at the panther, this time managing to drive his spear home through the panthers thick hide to draw blood from Ma'ilee. The panthers distraction of the cultist(5) allows Kavaki the moment he needs to charge past and attack the reinforcements that have started to appear at the top of the stairs. Kavaki's maul takes a large chunk out of the wall as the lucky Cultist ducks just before the hammer conects with his head.

He then continues, "Get over here!"
Standard Action: Call to Arms Close Burst 5 v Will You lead your foe to the ground where you want to fight. Hit: You pull the target to a square adjacent to you. Then make a melee secondary (v AC) attack against it using your weapon.

The power of Amaunator drags the evil preistess to the edge of the ledge upon which she built her podium. She struggles against the power the old paladin exudes, but to no avail all she can do is scream with horror as she is dragged over the edge falling the 25 feet to land next to the old paladin who swings his sword at the bitch but fails to conect as she rolls to her feet staring with hatred at the old warrior. Secure Rolls: High priestest save 1d20(9) = 9 Fall Damage 2d10{(7)(10)} = 17

More reinforcements begin to arrive at the top of the stairs. One of these cultists(3) manages to carge forward stabbing at the panther form of Ma'ilee drawing blood from the wild cat.
End Round 4
Put on the back foot by the sly old warrior the blood covered High priestess backs up onto the stairs. She hisses at the holy warrior of Amaunator as she sends a ray of black fire his way, managing to squeeze past his defences scorching him with her evil fire. Then drawing out his power she sends it up to the Accolyte still standing on the podium above the veteren warrior. Then acting with surprising quickness(spends an action point) she sends yet another blast at Jack, who not fooled twice raises his shield taking the blast with naught more than minor scorching on his shield. The Cultist reinforce ments hit home with yet another cultist(2) taking thrusts with their sharp spear at Kavaki. Missing the giant the cultist finds himself unbalanced and vulnerable to attack(grants CA this round) And yet more reinforcements can bee seen dashing to destroy the infidels at the top of the stairs one launching a javelin into the frey landing a solid blow on the pantherous form of Ma'ilee scratching her again.

Seeing the priestess fall, Merc heads back down the stairs where he can focus on a single enemy, while giving his comrades with the ranged and area attacks more room to vent on the horde of cultists.
Upon reaching the priestess, he plans to unleash a flood of psychic energy but is momentarily distracted as his foot slips on the stairs. He's only able to recover somewhat and leave the priestess with a lingering, throbbing headache.
Move: To square directly SE of priestess Standard: Recursive Emotions 12 vs AC for 9 psychic damage Miss: Half damage (5). Effect: Target takes ongoing 5 psychic (save ends). Whenever target makes a saving throw against this effect, enemy takes Wis Modifier (4) psychic damage and ally regains same number of hp. For 1st ST, 4 damage on C3, and heal Aulych 4hp. As merc turns his back and heads back down the stairs the cultist(5) upon the stairs lashes out with his spear not damaging the elder elf but distracting him enough that he slips as he descens the stairs. THe elfs psychic powers flare up as what seems to be purple red trendrils rise out of his head then lash out at the high priestess, causing her pain. All the while more reinforcements are ariving. Another cultist(11) hurls his javelin at the Panther Ma'ilee that is shreding the cultists at the top of the stairs. The missile flies true sinking deeply into the panthers haunch bloodying Ma'ilee.

The minute the priestess was in the same area as him and his friends, Swift dropped his bow. The area around him grew pitch black within seconds as shadows started dancing around him. In a blink of an eye, the swirling shadows rushed to the priestess, taking shape of the elven ranger, striking multiple times at his prey, shadows latched onto her exploding as his blades cut through her skin.

OOC: Feat adds +3 to Swift's Leonine Surge damage or 3 temp hp if it missed. Resourceful Warlord feat: When an ally you can see spends an action point to make an attack, the ally gains a +3 bonus to damage rolls on a hit or gains 3 temporary hit points on a miss.

Like the shadow of death swift swoops in delivering a virtual barrage of steel and blood to the high priestess as shadows swirl around him, leaving her torn to shreds. She can barely stand as she slides to one side dodging the worst of the off hand blow by swift. Then her chain armour glows as with a florish of her dark cape, a shadow seems to envelop her. The high priestess vanishes, only to re-apear behind the cultists defending the top of the stairs she looks bloodied and almost finished, but she still stands glaring at the Heathens that invaded her temple.

Seeing the high priestess of the temple apear amongst their ranks bloodied and battered sends the cultists into a frenzie. They launch another wave of attacks on (C4 vs.)Kavaki. As more reinforcements arrive lauching their javelins at Kavaki and Ma'ilee. While the last Crimson Acolyte alone and still on the podium continues to blast the dark fire down onto the elder paladin. Their attacks rain down like hellfire on our heros dealing them a devistating blow.

My plan is to use my Cull the Herd power to pull the witch back to our side of the battle line.
