After calming Sharra to accept the rope harness and lower down, Lunia makes her way down behind her and goes to the wolf and scratches her behind her ears. "You did good Sharra now stay, OK?"
Lunia will go back over to the rope and help out where she is needed until all are down.

Moving on....
After Lunia descends, Cathbadh and Rowelliam follow suit. The last to descend into the shaft is Klem, who after deeming that it will hold his weight, ties the rope securely to the handle on the hatch door.
As everyone else starts filing in behind Zazi, Verrik hands his torch to Zazi and hoists himself up into the room. Taking the torch back, he steps 20ft into the room to look around.
The flickering torchlight illuminates the buildings around him. They date back to the era when goblins, united under the flag of the Dhakkani empire ruled the area that was to become Sharn. The structures are now little more than crumbled shells, from the scattered debris it apparently served as a humble place for simple laborers to work and bunk by the time House Cannith established it's foundry here. Father back, just barely seen by those with lowlight vision, are more modern (comparatively) buildings.
Verrik stops and turns around, satisfied for the moment that the area is safe.
"Seems safe enough.....
Wait a sec. Does anyone else hear that?
From the walls and ruins scattered amongst the chamber, there is a constant hum. It takes a moment to recognize, but eventually the sounds of chittering and buzzing can be picked up from among the cacophony. It's not unlike the sound of insects in the King's Forest, except that the chamber seems to amplify and echo the noise in disturbing ways.
Listen checks everyone.

Klem would rather fight one big bug than a lot of little bugs. He stops to listen and frowns - are they about to be swarmed?
He gets out his bedroll. Fire would be better. Secure Rolls: listen check 1d20(10)+3 = 13

Sharra growls, sensing danger. Verrik pulls his dagger.
A black carpet rises up from the dusty floor and slides around a corner and toward Verrik. No, not a carpet, but a mass of squirming, chittering, shiny black beetles that swarm with a hungry purpose. The swarm advances and engulfs Verrik, covering him head to toe and biting at his flesh. (Verrik -4HP)
Verrik gasps for breath, unable to do anything but push his way out of the swarm and toward a corner.
The action continues with The Ruins of Dorasharn (LP)!
