This has been on my mind for some time. When it comes to the combat maps, I've seen several people list where they want to move by either putting down (Column,Row) or (Row, Column) in the same game, so it can get confusing since both are numbers. It isn't a major issue, but was thinking if one, like Columns became alphabetical (A, B, C, etc..). So when you say you want to move to A12 or 12A, there is no question where you mean. "Trouble with you Elven girls is that your desire to do it is in inverse proportion to your willingness to talk about it."

Curious if there is a way to PM (Private Message) more than 1 person at a time? Maybe by using a ';' separating the names?
It gets hard copy/pasting the same message to more than 1 PC.

@LordOmega: I'll consider that. The nature of the new mapper may make implementing this impractical though.
@Zarsynn: There presently isn't a way, however you can add all the PCs to a group from your Game Controls and then use the group's name in the private tag.

@LordOmega: Or get your players to prefix the number with a letter, x or y for those familiar with x/y axis. Otherwise use h or v for horizontal and vertical. Eg: x12,y3 or h12,v3

ok--- here's another one; How about the dice roller doing some simple math? IE- roll x * 2, or roll x * y + z
Sorry if it already does, and I'm too scatterbrained to figure it out.. :(

The GM feature to post as one of the players is great. If it's easy to do would be possible to allow the player of that character to edit that GM created post as though they had written the post themselves?

@Zarsynn: The roller can't handle math (apart from adding or subtracting a modifier), but you can use IScript to handle more advanced mathematical modifications.
@Underworld: Unfortunately such a change would be rather complex to pull off.

@underworld
If you REALLY trust your players, you can increase the "edit" function to all players. However, that would allow ANY player to edit ANY post in that topic. You don't need a book to roleplay - If you can think of it, and explain why you think it could work, I will figure out a way to let you try

Worse case scenario is, you get a disgruntled player that either has an issue toward the GM or the other players, and proceeds to delete everything before he leaves. Koi flips his hair back, "Koi has always had women try to seduce him. It is just the natural order of things."

You're right Lord_Lut but it's not that big an issue. I figured if it was a simple change it might be worthwhile. It's certainly not an issue worth putting lots of time and effort into.

Not sure if anyone has ever put this but an active chat room between everyone logged on. Would be pretty sweet.
Even sweeter if we could Set up friends lists and chat one on one and add people into rooms.
A firends list in general would be nice, to kept track of everyone we know and play with. "Waiting for that second wind"

There is a chatroom available. At the bottom of your page, there should be a Meebo toolbar. On the right side, there is the ability to connect to a chatroom.
Not sure of all the features, since I only fooled around with it once. "Foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds."

I was wondering if a right click drop down option list can be added when you click on the maps the reason I ask is that when I do my adventures i make a big map of the area then as the players move I uncover a little at a time but I find it anoying when I only want to remove part of one of the covering tiles i have made and it would be realy useful just to right click on a square and clear that square only ... is thgis possible?

@Dubonic: BobTHJ is working on an overhaul of the entire mapping system that will allow you to create layers, facilitating such things as lighting effects, spell effects and fog of war - which should give you the the functionality you are looking for (though w/o the right click).

You can use Meebo, or you can use Chatango and toss it right in your control panel like I did for Reluctant Heroes.
Some thoughts to consider. When we see there's a new PM notification on the market, you click on it, and instead of taking you to the control panel where you then have to navigate to your inbox, have it immediately take you to the most recently received new message.
A huggles option that lets users send a huggles to another user they know using the site at the same time. So you just click on their user name, go to their user page and click Huggles this person!
A huggles would be something like a facebook poke. Only it's a huggles! Hug + Snuggle. Skald has sent you a huggles! Would you like to send one back?
Maybe I'm just feeling too warm and fuzzy today, usually I'm more in favor of stabbing people in the back. If users don't like getting Huggles they could just turn the feature off somewhere in the UCP likely under additional features.

Based on Jack_Frost's post here maybe we need a competition to come up with a way of improving the size of the RPM community.
Another idea is that part of your initial login is to enter the name of the person who introduced you to the site. You could earn titles based on how many people you have introduced. For example: Introduce 5 people: Tree house leader 10 people: Gang leader 15 people: Life of the party 20 people: Cult leader
I'm sure their are better ideas for new titles. If so, let's hear 'em.

oh I do not want to be a cult leader!
Well first I came here to add an idea, so let me get that done first.
Have you seen the new thing Mozilla Firefox now does?
When you first open your tab, it shows most recently visited links. How about when you first sign into Roleplaymarket we have threads your ISP last visited show up hotlinked. Your most recently visited threads. Then people can decide in user settings if they want the last 5, the last 10, the last 20, the last 50. You can go straight to your thread in one click, which reduces server load & cost on the server, and makes users (me at least) a little happier because we don't need to click thru 5-6 links to make it to our fav thread.
Now Referral Titles.

An idea regarding the character tracker image. Usually you (probably) want this image to match the character avatar so the rather than loading a tile it would be great to be able to enter an img tag url here and have it point to the character avatar image. This is not only quicker and easier than creating and uploading a tile of the avatar image but also, if the avatar ever changes, it will automatically be reflected in the character tracker.
