Large tiles, can time out on uploading, and are prone to error. Split it up into smaller pieces (less tiles). Need to keep pixels in the range of 30 to 200 per tile.
If you have questions feel free to PM me.

When trying to get into my character here I get the following error:
Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.
Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.
I think it is because I tried to change it to one of the premade 4th ed sheet styles. I have made a new character thread so could you please delete it.
Thank you.

The mapper is really just not working for me - any time I try to lay any tiles, it doesn't save them. I refresh the window or browse away and come back, and it's still blank.
Now, after the downtime, all tiles in all libraries are shownig as dead image links.

@sammichweasel: The dead links issue was temporary, it should be working again (had an issue with the server this morning). As for tiles not saving, this is an AJAX problem. Make sure your browser is pointed to www.roleplaymarket.com. If you don't have the www. in there then AJAX won't work correctly and your map tiles won't be saved.

I keep getting an error when I try to go to my control panel. I've tried different browsers and signing in and out, but it's always the same problem. Thanks, cgehud
This is what the first part of it reads:
Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

@cgehud: Could you please PM me the rest of the error (the bottom half)? I'll look into it and get it fixed. Thanks!

I get: Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.Posts'.'PK_Posts' in database 'RPM' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.

@Meilandru: This problem should be fixed. If it is not I will have physical access to the server tomorrow afternoon and will make the appropriate adjustments.

my player just complained about the latter with a message earlier today. They cannot post due to a similiar if not the same message that Meilandru appears to have had. Should i tell them to wait until tommorow or to try again? The player's name is Onlie2005.

The posting problem should be fixed - temporarily at least. Long term I need to relocate the RPM database to a new drive with more space, so if you notice it happening again please let me know.

A couple of days ago when I was working on a map, my computer crashed and I had to re-boot. Now every time I try to access the site from that computer, I get a weird blank page that says 'Web Server Is OK'. I find that I can access the site by googling it and clicking on the links sub heading, but typing in the web address directly doesn't work.

I suspect this is a cache issue. If you clear your browser's cache it should fix the problem I think...

I can't seem to post anything to one of my games. It says something about there being no space left in the database for new posts.

Rasgorn has expressed very similar issues on the Reluctant Heroes boards...he mentioned so in the OOC thread.

I was also unable to edit the above post to include detailed error information. Post length may be a factor.

Perhaps. But I have made post that only had 'Test' and the error would pop up. I would sometimes hit 'Back' and resubmit the post and it would work. Like this one. Doesn't always work though. "A lie is a great story until someone ruins it by telling the truth."
