I just watched it last night. I was impressed, particularly with how they spliced parts of the "real" film with theirs. Thanks for bringing it up Hruda.
Has anyone else seen anything with a similar fantasy theme like Legend of the Seeker or the Hunt for Gollum?

Ok it's been 2 weeks since I opened registration for the world chaimpionships and it's time for me to put up or shut up. Do to complications i'm not going to be running the event in Pont du Faux instead rather i'll be doing it in Aachen. I will be hammering away the rest of today to get as much rolling as possible. So seeing Jonas reminded me. It's been a good long while since I've played a Bard; would someone be willing to take on an extra thread or to add a bard to theirs?

Jonas isn't close to a pure Bard, he's more of a mutt due to his storyline. Hakon is more of a Bard. Jonas has been trying to get a Cohort for a while now, he wouldn't mind a Bard. You wouldn't need to have him follow Jonas' orders, just kind of stick close enough to him in strategy. My threads are kind of hard to follow, but I wouldn't mind adding another player if Rasgorn is alright with it.

World Championships announcement
I’ve been using the last several days getting the first post of every single event up for the world championships. Some of you have posted in the various threads and I just wanted you to know I’m not ignoring you. I learned from last year the first post is always the hardest and once things got rolling several events ended up not happening.
Out of the 22 scheduled events I’ve canceled 2 of them. One being the maze which I’ve assigned all the content from to the riddle game and the healers challenge which I’m honestly just drawing a blank on how to run. All of the other 20 other events are up and running ready for contestants to make their first post. If you have any questions about the rules of an event please post them in the event thread Chances are your not alone and it’s best to get the matter cleared up for everybody.
Let the games begin! :o)

So for those of you who don't know, the current DMs of this game (LK, Ras, Skald, and Gibbon, I think), have asked me to leave due to "various issues."
I do not agree with their decision; I have asked to hear Horse's word on this. Likely, this will be a long time coming, during which time I (by assumed general consensus, my own included) will not be active. While I can guess at what these various issues might be, I'm not positive on any of them.
I do, however, want to ask the players of this game to do something, for their own sake. I have, privately, conversed with more than one of you about the various issues that have arisen between me and the DMs of late, and I find that a few of you are in pretty consistent agreement with me on the specifics we discussed. I'm not going to ask you to defend me: that would probably just make things worse.
Instead, I want you to ask yourself: how happy are you with the way things are in your game right now? Does my being asked to leave make you feel threatened? If your answer is "no" to the first or "yes" to the second, or even both respectively, it may be time to discuss it with your DM.
Though, to be fair, I did -- and look what happened.

I totally love this game! I am very sorry that there were conflicts that could not be resolved between two DMs and a player. For the record, I don't want anyone even considering it was me in private conversation with Tsu complaining about anyone or anything done.

I love this game, I love being involved here, and I regret the time that I missed playing it for those years between losing GoAnd and finding here.
In your case, Tsu, I agree with the GMs. If I was running your game, I would have given you warnings about your game play and your comments. Your style is impatient and gives very little for a GM to go on. I don't like one-liner posts in my games, and very few GMs I know like them either. When you do that, you aren't fulfilling a role, you're just filling a hole.
I won't be fighting for you to return. Only you can do that. You have to learn to fight your own battles and to change your style to compromise with those running the games. If you can't make a compromise with anyone, if you can't improve on your patience and reduce your accusations to people who are busting their butts for this game, you don't belong here.
