Heya. New guy in these parts, but I have years of RPG experience both on and off line. OWoD is my system of choice, but I'm familiar with nWoD, Scion, Exalted, FATE and many more. Well, just dropping by to say hello and ask a question.
Is there a section where I could test the waters to see if the game I intend to run would attract attention?

Tzuppy: If you are thinking of GMing a game and want to guage interest make a post in the Game Ads (LP) forum. Usually you will get a few replies from interested players within a day or so.

hi, names Zeke. been here a while but not as long as some (just got the 100 post award). I have played DnD 3.5 ( favorite books are tome of battle, and tome of magic), and new World of darkness though haven't run a campain yet (please please will someone start a new WOD campain), and have tryed (aka don't have the books for) Battletech (mad cat mech for the win!), and starwars. I'm always open to help a new person, just send me a message, and if I don't know the answer I more than likly know some one who does. I joined because the closest hobby shop to me shut-down (unicorn games in Oakdale), and that was a 20-min drive from home... also a big time history, military, and Wheel of time buff.

I am Diebdazar, left another forum that I been at for a few years due to finally getting fed up with the abusive nature of an admin and the owner's unwillingness to do anything about it.
Hunting for a new place to host my game I stumbled onto here and wish I'd found it sooner :)
I've played and DMed 3/3.5e D&D, True20 and Mutants and Masterminds. And have the books for 4e D&D.
My current 'favorite' system is FATE.
I'm running a FATE game set in the Dresden Files 'verse'. It's mostly full but I may accept another player or two if you contact me and the concept is a workable one that is not already in play. Feel free to PM me.
'Mature' themes crop up occasionally as one of my game philosophies is that such is just as important (if not more so) than violence for adding depth. But by the same token if you're looking for detailed 'interactions' look elsewhere. Nevertheless the game is private and I will insist on all players being 18 or over.

I'm most familiar with 3.5, though I'm willing to learn most anything. I'm looking for one or two good games, preferably in the early stages as I tend to get lost if there's a lot I missed out on earlier.

hiya =3 Fluffs here. Now, my introduction, where to start..
Well, I'm one of the mythical girl gamers (yes, we actually exist :P), 16 years old, and I live in Japan (not Japanese, mind you). I'm equal parts DM and player, and while I may be fairly new to RPing (only 3 years or so), I'm learning fast. Definitely looking forward to starting/joining some games here.
Besides RPGs, I read (Discworld, some 40k, the Bartimaeus Trilogy and Eragon/Eldest being the most recent) and game (platformers, RPGs, RTS and some other stuff on the SNES/PC/DC/PS2) a LOT. On the other hand, I'm generally not too interested in music, watch no TV, and watch a movie.. I don't know, about once or twice a year, so I fail on the geekery count there >_>
Anyways, looking forward to getting to know everyone here. I tend to be waaaay more hyper than I am here, so you'll get sick of me pretty quick ^_^
Oh, by the way, does this place have a chatroom?

I'm Ulla/Phil, I've been playing rpg since I was 14 yers old (i'm 18 atm) mostly DnD 3.5 and nWoD (which imo is the best system)
I also play some LARP here in Denmark (which is where I live atm)

Greetings, mortals.
I am the being one might suppose you could call 'the Icedaemon'. A relatively long-time roleplayer, my preferred character archetype is the sympathetic (anti-) villain, but I tend to be proficient with with all types sans the boring old happy-go-lucky idiot hero.
What with my current roleplaying site going slow these days, I am obviously interested in spreading my not at all malicious influence here-a-ways. I have built a roleplaying system from scratch, which is currently going through a test run (though at a snail's pace, owing to players dropping like flies) and thoroughly enjoy world-building.
