Note: there's a correction to the ability stats point buy. Use the standard Method 2 in the PHB and use a 22 point buy (I originally had a 32 points)

Looks like we may be a little light on brute strength. Haven't seen the striker yet and there's one more yet to be determined. Just means you'll need to outsmart and outwit... which I like.

Using the Maria background and calling her Jessica. 11 or 13 are both fine for the age of kids in the orphanage. 13 and behaving 'mature for her age' is probably better than 11. but if you want to play/be younger, that's fine too.

Ok. Placing Cauldron in the Forgotten Realms setting.
Cauldron is in Calimshan region Specifically the geography sort of fit that the volcano is in the Alamir Mts. near the Lake of Steam.
It's far enough away not to be influenced by the battling genasi.
Also looks like I'm going to try and pull in the pantheon of the FR setting. Some of the old 3.5 Gods/churches may slip through because of the material, but I'll try and convert to FR when I remember to.
