Hi to all on the board. Is there an interest by any in this crowd in the Mutants & Masterminds game?

Always interested, but not in running a game. However, give me a PL and I'm all about it.

Not terribly, though a few key components have changed. One big thing is that Dexterity no longer affects accuracy or defense. So it is possible to have a hulking brute with excellent hand-to-hand skills, even though he possesses a low Dexterity. Likewise, having a high Dexterity does not necessarily imply that you are difficult to hit. These attributes are bought separately.
Some of the major differences can be found here.

Geez, that's a lot of fundamental changes. Glad I didn't sign up to judge this at Origins....

I have all the first edition books, 2nd edition... I decided not to buy, it seemed to just be overpowered. Level 10 in 2nd edition is Level 20 in first. It had some feat, and skill changes, but I'd already run those changes with homebrew rules, all in all I decided not to buy it until I got the full evaluation from a brainy friend.
I'm interested in running a 1 on 1 adventure for a superhero. Back in college I tried to run group, but just didn't have anyone who could meet all at the same time so I ended up running 4 mini-campaigns.
I've realized I have a bad tendency as a DM to skip over and seemingly ignore other players. So at the moment 1 on 1 seems best for me. :)
By the age of 10 I saw Superman I, and Superman II on TV. Avid fan of the 1990's Lois and Clark series and the Xmen cartoon in the 1990's when Wolverine was wearing yellow and blue striped spandex. I've been watching CNN for the last several years and taking notes on crimes committed in the hopes of possibly making a very realistic crime-solving superhero/villain game for anyone who might be into playing.
Also there's the Who Wants to be a Superhero thing going on TV to consider. I might consider running a paralel game that's based loosely on the TV show.
I currently DM almost full time for 3 PC's and I kind of like to limit it to that, but I do love MM a lot, so I'm willing to try and do another MM campaign, but only if it's a Co-DMship.
If I were to run a MM game it would be 4 colors, no death is ever permanent unless you find the body and even then.... ^.^
Some gore, blood, violence, and major villians if allowed to pursue their tasks could bring about more problems and troubles.
While I'm pretty artful about how I portray adventures, I do have a few rules. You must post every day, even if I don't. If your thread seems to stall out, don't ignore it, ask me why. I could be stuck on something and maybe could use a little nudgy.

Sorry, I love the changes the second edition brought about. If you're interested, I have posted a review here. By ythe way, the answer to the question I posed is, "yes."
