The Order of the Stick has a good metagamed D&D storyline and entertaining characters, and Erfworld, another comic added to the site recently, takes a look at turn-based strategy games. Both are spectacularly executed.

I had never heard of Order of the Stick until the link was put here on RPM. I'm addicted now. This is a hilarious and exciting web-comic. I highly recommend it!
